Top critical access hospitals announced

The 20 highest-ranked critical access hospitals (CAHs) in the country, as determined by the Chartis Center for Rural Health, were recently announced by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA).

Five Nebraska hospitals made the list:

Boone County Health Center (Albion)
Brodstone Healthcare (Superior)
Community Medical Center (Falls City)
Memorial Health Care Systems (Seward)
Phelps Memorial Health Center (Holdrege)

Two hospitals were recognized for Best Practice - Patient Satisfaction:

Callaway District Hospital (Callaway)
Syracuse Area Health (Syracuse)
